Recently got back from two beautiful weeks in sunny Crete. This is the first pic of the hols I’ve uploaded to Flickr, more to follow. Paleochora is a laid-back seaside town in the south west of the island. Two beaches to choose from, lots of lovely restaurants and perfect weather!

The rain’s falling on Glastonbury Festival, and Sam’s just reminded me it’s 20 years since we first went! Don’t remember a whole lot about it, but came over from France where I was living at the time – with all my stuff in a suitcase! Bumped into Sam down the front at The Wedding Present. Marvellous.

It’s also ten years since I last went to it… when I fell asleep standing up during Radiohead’s much praised ‘greatest ever performance by anyone ever at Glastonbury.. no hang on, make that the greatest gig of all time anywhere’. I blame the pear cider.

Just spent a great weekend in Madrid becoming Godfather to young Eddie, four-month old son of best mate Mark and his missus Nieves. My pics are still in the camera (not with me right now), but in the meantime over to Mark…
