Google Mail delivers ads based on keywords in your email. So I probably shouldn’t be too surprised when someone wants to sell me breeding quality alpacas when eBay mails to remind me my watched item, a Breeders 12″, is ending soon. Guess if I don’t win the record, I could console myself with an alpaca to sort out our lawn. “For all your Alpaca needs it is our please to help” indeed.
Ha! ha! A friend is taking part in the ‘flash mob rave’ at St Paul’s Cathedral tomorrow evening. I had no idea what he was talking about, but YouTube soon enlightened me. This is the silent disco that happened at Victoria Station back in April:
He was asking for tips for a top track to start with: “needs to be on the button immediately”. I’d have probably gone for React 2 Rhythm’s Intoxication or Liberation 2’s eponymous track … neither of which I have in ‘personal stereo’ format, so suggested Atlantic Ocean’s Waterfall.
I wish they were doing one in Bristol, but may have to have me own mini-rave in our living room/bathroom (depending on whether L’s bathtime coincides with the 6.46pm kick-off!). L and L will probably just ignore me, as dancing around going “dncha-dncha-dncha” is fairly normal behaviour.
